What is veg fried rice?

Today lets cook veg fried rice. Veg fried rice is nothing more than stir frying of cooked rice with green vegetables like peas, cabbage, carrot, beans, capsicum, cauliflower and many more. It is a simple dish which you can prepare in short period of time. Today i am going to prepare veg fried rice in easiest way. After reading today’s recipe you will fall in love with veg fried rice. From today after learning the preparation of veg fried rice you will not throw remaining cooked rice in dustbin.

Ingredients required to prepare veg fried rice

Lets start with listing the ingredients for making veg fried rice.

  1. Boiled rice  – 1 bowl
  2. Chopped Cauliflower – 40 gms
  3. Chopped Capsicum – 40 gms
  4. Pea – 40 gms
  5. Chopped Beans – 40 gms
  6. Chopped Carrot – 40 gms
  7. Finely chopped green chili – as per taste
  8. Chopped spring Onion – half cup
  9. Chopped Onion – 1 medium sizes
  10. Red chilli powder – as per taste
  11. Turmeric powder – a pinch
  12. Black pepper powder – half pinch
  13. Oil – 2 teaspoon
  14. Chopped garlic – 1 teaspoon
  15. Cumin seeds – half teaspoon
  16. Soya sauce – half teaspoon
  17. Salt – as per taste

Steps (methods) to prepare Veg fried rice

 

 

  1. First of all heat an oil in a frying pan. When oil is heated roast cumin seeds till it becomes brown(or black). After that add chopped Onion, garlic pieces and chopped green chilly. Roast them until they change their color brown.
  2. Now add all vegetables like Cauliflower, Capsicum, beans, carrot and pea. Stir all ingredients and cook for 3-4 minutes. After 3-4 minutes add the ingredients like black pepper powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt.
  3. After mixing all ingredients stir and mix them well. Now add finely chopped spring onion.
  4. Now turn off the heat and serve in a serving plate and garnish it with chopped fresh green coriander leaves.
