

Chicken choila
Choila is the combination of grilled meat with tomato, raw ginger-garlic, lemon juice and mustard oil. It is very popular dish of Nepal in a Newar community. Choila can be eaten with beaten rice, roasted black beans and pickle.
Equipment
- 1 Grill machine
- 1 Mixing bowl
- 1 Frying pan
Ingredients
- 500 grams Chicken meat
- 3 pieces Tomato
- 2 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp Mustard oil
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 3 pieces Red chili
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- ½ tsp Fenugreek seeds
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 40 grams Spring onion
- 1 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Grill Chicken meat and tomato in an open fire.
- Cut the grilled meat in a small pieces. Peeled the tomato and make a tomato paste along with mixing raw ginger garlic.
- After cutting meat transfer it to a mixing bowl.
- Now add all ingredients like tomato,ginger and garlic paste, chili powder, finely chopped spring onion, squeeze lemon juice, finely chopped fresh coriander leaves and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Heat an oil in a frying pan and roast red chili and fenugreek seeds. Turn off the flame and add turmeric powder and pour it to mixing bowl.
- Mix all ingredients and rest it for 15 minutes so that meat can absorb all ingredients. Your Chicken choila is ready to serve.
