Chicken fried rice
Chicken fried rice is cooked rice stir fried with fried chicken and green veggies. You can use green veggies according to your availability. It is also one of the best way to use leftover cooked rice instead of throwing in a trash can. Chicken fried rice is very simple to cook within few minutes, you just need to saute and stir fry. When you are tired and you do not have enough time, you can utilize leftover cooked rice to prepare chicken fried rice. Since we add many veggies and chicken it contains all required nutrition.

- 1 bowl leftover cooked rice
- 200 grams boneless chicken
- 1 tbsp butter or ghee
- 1 medium sized onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 pieces green chili
- For frying chicken any cooking oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- As per taste salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- For garnishing spring onion
First of all heat cooking oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken pieces.
Heat butter or ghee in a cooking pan and roast cumin seeds until crackles, add julienne onion, garlic and finely chopped green chili.
Add diced green veggies according to your availability and saute for 5 minutes.
Turn to add cooked rice and season with black pepper, salt, soy sauce and stir fry for 5 minutes.
While stirring season with fried chicken.
Your chicken fried rice is ready, garnish with spring garlic or fresh coriander leaves before serving.
