Ramen noodles

Ramen noodles are a Chinese style wheat based noodle dish that has become popular all over the world. They are usually served in broth and topped with various ingredients such as eggs, vegetables, meat, seaweed, mushrooms and many more. Ramen can also be served dry. It is an incredibly versatile dish that can be enjoyed as a meal or snacks.

Equipment

  • 1 Cooking pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Packet Ramen noodle
  • 1 tsp Cooking oil
  • 1 tsp regular soy sauce
  • 1 tsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes
  • As per taste green chili
  • As per taste salt
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp chopped spring onion
  • For garnishing Sesame seeds
  • For garnishing Cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Bring a pot of water to boil.
  • add the ramen noodles and cook for 2-3 minutes until to the tooth (al dente).
  • Drain the noodles and rinse with cold water.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add crushed garlic, green chili and chopped spring onion.
  • Now add the vegetables you like ( i prefer green peas and carrot) and saute.
  • When vegetables become soft add the ingredients like regular soy sauce, tomato sauce, ramen spices, chili flakes, salt and ramen noodles. Mix them well
  • After frying for an additional 2 minutes your ramen noodles will be ready to serve.
  • Before serving add your favorite toppings and garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro.

Notes

Ramen noodles must have a chewy texture rather soggy, so don't over cook it. Ramen noodles are best when they are hot and sauce is still saucy so serve it immediately.
