C momo

Chili Momo, also known as C Momo among Nepalese people, is a widely enjoyed dish in Nepal. This variation on the classic Momo is often found in both street food stalls and restaurants. To make C Momo, the Momo is first deep-fried and then cooked in a flavorful sauce with vegetables such as tomato, onion, and capsicum. Ingredients
  

  • 10 pieces of momo dumpling
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 4 cloves of Garlic
  • 3 inches Ginger
  • 2 pieces Green chili
  • 1 medium sized Onion
  • 1 medium sized Tomato
  • 1 medium sized Capsicum
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Tomato ketchup
  • 3 tsp Cornstarch slurry
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • As per taste Chili flakes
  • As per taste Salt

Instructions
 

  • First of all deep fry momo until golden brown color appears.
  • Heat an oil in a cooking pan and saute finely chopped ginger, garlic and green chili for a minute.
  • Add onion and capsicum, saute for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add tomato at the last and saute for a minute.
  • Now pour the mixture of soy sauce, tomato ketchup and chili flakes.
  • To thicken the sauce add slurry of cornstarch.
  • Season with black pepper and salt.
  • At last add fried crispy momo and mix them well.
  • Your c momo is ready to serve.
